The Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) is a semi-autonomous government agency operating in partnership with the private sector and government to drive national economic growth and development. The Authority was established by the Investment Code Act, Cap 92 Revised Edition 2000 Laws of Uganda. UIA's vision is to make Uganda the leading investment destination

The Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry advocates for a favourable business environment where the businesses of members can thrive. This, it does through effective representation of the business community on several Government committees where the views of the private sector need to be considered in the national planning process of the country.

Uganda Manufacturers Association is one of the largest organizations representing the broad industrial and commercial sectors of Uganda 's economy and an important forum for the private sector in the country. UMA has a membership comprising of close to 750 small, medium and large enterprises drawn from both the private and public sector
